Hellooo YJ Fans! Happy new year to you all! This is just a little something I came up with... Now. (Literally, just now).

It's to celebrate 2013... The fact that new YJ episodes air THIS SATURDAY! WHO'S EXCITED OVER THAT? \o/

Anyway, it's a one-shot only. Hope you like! ^^

On Repeat

Fifteen minutes until midnight. M'gaan was flying around the cave impatiently. Robin, Connor, Wally and Khaldur had promised they'd be back from their mission before midnight. They couldn't miss out on their annual tradition after all.

Raquel beamed into the cave, carrying five plastic bags.
"I've got everything M'gaan! Are the others back yet?" She shouted.
"Not yet." M'gaan sighed.

Artemis and Zatanna walked into the kitchen after finishing the decorations.
"Everything's set. Now all we need is the guys." Artemis stated.
"They better get here before midnight." Zatanna frowned.

M'gaan silently watched the time through the main computer. Five minutes until midnight. They had to come back.

Zatanna checked her hair in the mirror for the millionth time. Despite the fact that it was winter, she wore one of her white summer dresses and lilac flats. It's not like they'd be going outside anyway.

"The cake came out perfectly." Raquel squealed.
"If only their timing was as perfect." Artemis complained.
"They'll be here." Zatanna assured.

One minute left until midnight and the four boys still hadn't returned.
"That's it then, isn't it? They won't make it." M'gaan said sadly.
"So much for tradition." Artemis frowned.

Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One.

The main computer played a cheerful tune and the words 'Happy New Year' sparkled across the big screen.
"They didn't make it." M'gaan sighed.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that." Wally called out.
The girls spun round quickly. Khaldur gently kissed Raquel. Wally quickly pulled Artemis into his arms. M'gaan flew over to Conner and grabbed hold of him. Robin smirked towards his favourite girl.
"This is a pretty asterous tradition."
"Shut up and kiss me." Zatanna smirked back.

Despite the viciously cold weather, they all decided to jump a few waves. Zatanna lit up a fire for them to sit around afterwards.
"So are we really going to do this every year?" Wally grinned.
"I can skip on the coming outside part." Zatanna stated, shivering.
Robin smirked and wrapped both arms around her.
"But coming outside is the best part!" Raquel exclaimed. "Think about it, it's freezing cold and we're not dressed appropriately. Meaning we have to cuddle."
"I like the way you think." Wally said, wriggling his eyebrows.

M'gaan and Connor appeared with the champagne bottles.
"Technically, we can't drink." Zatanna stated.
"Technically, it's non alcoholic." M'gaan grinned.
"Happy new year!" Wally shouted excitedly.

Yes, good lads. Non alcoholic Champagne, because under aged drinking is illegal! \o/

So once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let's make it count, alright? And remember... New year's resolutions only work if you work for it! So don't give up and keep strong!
