Ch 1: (disclaimer: i do not own the amazing story of the Labyrinth but i wish i did... darnit! well anyway please rate comment or anything! thanx for reading!!!!)

Sarah was feeling the tears fill up her eyes. She had found Pete with the slut earlier and now she was officially single...great like that mattered! She looked around the empty apartment her and her most resent ex shared. It was so empty, so cold, so lonely. She took the box in her hand and walked over to the sink. She filped the switch on the garbage disposal. Down the drain went every memorie her and that jackass had shared, high school prom, high school graduation, her and him hugging Toby (who had always hated Pete) she chuckled at the look on tobys face... he looked absolutely disgusted! She noticed something in the corner of the picture, she stared closer at the familiar creature. Its white feathers shown brightly in the lights of the football stadium. It was a barn owl. It was "Jareth...."

she sighed and shook her head. The sound of flapping wings followed her huff. She turned and giggled "you were in EVERY picture you stalker!!!" the owl flapped its wings as if saying "i know im just keeping an eye on you!" that owl had some funny expressions sometimes. Sarah had learned to understand them. "im sure you know petes an ass already..." she sighed and turned to put the last picture of pete down the drain. "so I guess its just you and me" she turned to face the owl. He was now perched on the back of her leather couch. She plopped down on it. Something pete would have yelled at her for. "your gonna break the couch someday Sarah!" like it was his couch or something. She reached up and petted the bird. "jareth you've been by my side since the labyrinth. Hoggle dosent come around anymore and ludo is probably chasing butterfly's. Sir didymis and ambroshes are gaurding the bog again and I hate fireys so they know not to come around... its only you." she watched the beautiful bird rub itself along her hand. Jareth was there since she was 16 now she was 28 and he was still there. Hes not a bad guy, she told herself, he just has some anger issues and rules a castle full of goblins. She took her hand down and rolled over. "Good Night Jareth." she whisperd. The owl began to coo a lullaby until she was asleep and the flew away and in the wind he whispered "Good Night Dearest Sarah. My how you've grown..."
