I made this poem, and I think it fits Undertale pretty well. I DID name it after a song from the game. Rated K, but I think one needs a sliver of maturity to be able to grasp the full meaning. Happy reading! :)

Hopes and Dreams fill our hearts
It may aid you, but it keeps us apart
Imaginations float and fly
Yours shall soar, but mine shall die

Hopes and dreams of our own
We all have them, whether we dance or moan
They survive the most desolate war
We all nurture them in our core

Hopes and dreams fill the air
You flaunt yours on your heart, while mine rustle in my hair
I plead you to keep hoping, wandering on
I will be here, singing songs long gone

Hopes and dreams extend our world
Waving high, pendants that have unfurled
I wish you to keep loving, clinging on
I shall defend you, and my sword I shall don

Hopes and dreams lose their stripes
Childish dreams are replaced by groans and gripes
Those who protect their dreams are truly strong
while those who kill hopes are always in the wrong.
