What We Thought, What We Got
A.N.: Since The Blood of Olympus recently came out I thought it would be kinda cool to point out most of things that we all thought would happen in Blood of Olympus and what we actually got. Flames welcome and I hope you guys enjoy.
Top Things We Thought We'd Get:
The Final Battle for Olympus at the base of the original Mt. Olympus with the Greeks and Romans united along with the Gods.
The Gods along with The Seven and the rest of the demigods defeating the Giants and a monster army then Percy battling Gaea to the death.
The Seven getting their rewards from The Gods.
Percy using his reward to benefit the demigods and getting Hestia and Hades reinstated on the Olympian Council.
Percy and Annabeth getting a happy ending.
Leo freeing Calypso.
Octavian dying.
Two of the Seven being seriously wounded or dying and awakening Gaea
What We Actually Got:
The Final Battle for Olympus fought in Athens.
The Seven fighting the Giants with the Gods in some cramped space.
A small monster army made up of some earthen shells made by Gaea and random Roman monsters.
No battle for Olympus at the original Mt. Olympus.
Zeus literally volleyball spiking the Argo 2 to Camp Half-Blood lol.
The Olympians literally letting their CHILDREN fight Gaea by THEMSELVES, who just happens to be a PRIMORDIAL and is literally the FREAKIN EARTH. Can you guess who not getting the Parents of The Year Award?
Nobody getting any type of rewards whatsoever. Really? Smdh, after everything they've been put through they should at least get something like a new sword, better cabins, a monster proof scent, or something besides recognition.
Gaea getting blow up by Leo in the air. Just one of the worst battles ever smh,she just gonna build up all this hype about how powerful she was and how she was gonna destroy the Gods and take over the earth. Then she got blown up by a demigod on a flying bronze dragon right after she popped up on Half-Blood Hill and started her monologue about death, destruction of The Gods, and enslavement of mankind you know the usually evil villain speech.

Octavian dying...thank GOD! That scrawny little teddy bear butchering, praetor wanna being brat needed to die.
Nobody really getting a happy ending.
The WORST STORY ENDING THAT I HAVE EVER READ IN MY LIFE! NOBODY UNDERSTANDS WHAT THE HELL RICK WAS THINKING LIKE DID HE EVER THINK THAT MAYBE LEO WANTED TO TELL HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT OH I DON'T KNOW HE WAS ALIVE INSTEAD OF GOING AFTER SOME ASS!
