Her fingers moved slowly. They stood out so prominently against the black and blue fabric of your scarf. Her stitches were perfect and tiny. Her eyes were trained to her work. She paused to put the thread between her delicate lips, smudging it with her lipstick, but you didn't care. She hummed and realigned the fabric before taking the needle and finishing up her stitching. She tied a knot at the end and stretched out the remaining thread before snipping it with her fangs. She held it up and inspected her handiwork before folding it up gently and setting it next to her.
Your head was in her lap and her fingers absentmindedly ran through your hair. She smiled at you gently, all of her teeth showing and, oh dear god, it made your earfins flutter as well as your bloodpump.
You took her hand and kissed her knuckles when she curled her fingers around your's. She smiled warmly as her face turned a light jade. You turned her hand over and kissed her wrist. She, in return, ran her fingers over your fin oh so gently.
You looked up at her, letting both of them flutter as you smiled your scarcely-seen smile. Her golden eyes had just the slightest beginnings of jade around the edges and you smiled more, leaning up and pressing a kiss to her lips.
She returned it, her smile mirroring your's.
When you both pulled away, she fixed your hair again and you let her.
"I'm red for you, Kan…"
Her reply fell right into step, not hesitating, "I am red for you as well, Eridan."
