Summary: A young saiya-jin, trapped between worlds, finally escapes the void and gets to Earth. There, he meets the newest generation of Z-fighters and becomes involved in the final battle between the warriors and a strange masked fighter called "The Inquisitor".

Genre: Action/Adventure/Drama

Disclaimer: Dragonball and all characters in it aren't mine. The original characters are, though. The super-human transformation is my idea as is the concept of the dog-men. (The arashi).

A/N: Sorry. This part's really short. The rest will be in "episodes", but this one really needed to be its' own section, but it's too short to be an episode. More to come, I promise.

Prologue:

The Void

One.

In the beginning, there was One and only One.

Soon, another One was added.

Then there was Two.

One more was added, and then there was Three.

But it all started with One, and with One it shall end..

The Prophecies of Gila, Chapter 13, Verse 4-

Darkness.

Everything always begins with Darkness, doesn't it?
But this was the void.

There was always darkness.

When you think about it, everything originates in darkness.

When a child is in the womb, there is darkness.

When you finally give into the eternal sleep of death, there is darkness once again.

In between, there is sometimes light.

But not all the time.

Sometimes, there is constant darkness.

To me, there is constant darkness.

Because I float here, in this darkness, trapped for eternity, never to grow or change.

Because that is the nature of the Void.

Time stops, and there is nothing but darkness.

Darkness and me.

We are one now, this darkness and myself.

But sometimes...

Sometimes I long for something more.

Sometimes I wish for light.

But no.

That is not to be.

I was sealed in this darkness to stop my power from destroying the universe.

I'll always be here, surrounded inside and out by darkness.

Ah well.

It could be worse.

I could be in pain.

There is no pain here, no pleasure.

There is nothing but this constant darkness, flooding me with...feelings of nothingness.

That's the best way to describe it.

Here, I can just be.

Not worrying about things is nice, but sometimes...

I wish I could feel.

Oh, there it goes again.

A feeling.

Something like...pain.

Well.

This is a new experience.

I've been without feelings so long that this is...

Refreshing.

And disturbing.

I cannot give into temptations, especially one.

The temptation to feel.

That is the strongest temptation of all, sometimes.

But I digress.

I'm starting to depress myself.

Another new feeling.

...Wait.

There's...light?

It's pulling me...what's happening?

I'm...afraid.
