It was hard to believe that she was gone. That she was never coming back. That she would never again smile at me and stop another fight between me and Happy.
I never got the chance to tell her that I loved her…

The older we got, the closer we got and we became the best of friends. Every day we spent it under that tree and talked and just relaxed before either of us went off on a mission. And every day that passed, I truly started to believe that we would be together forever. I realized that I was falling in love with my best friend.
Oh, how I wanted to tell her that day. Wanted to tell her I loved her and that I wanted to be with her and that I wouldn't mind spending my life her, as husband and wife. But then Mirajane and Elfman came. Said they had a new mission.
"I'll be going Natsu."
But you never came back.
Hello fellow readers.
This is the first story I've written in a long time and I think I'll start back up again and finish the ones I never finished. Anyway, I really like Lisanna and Natsu as a couple just as much as I like Lucy and Natsu as a couple, but I think that Natsu would have ended up with Lisanna in the end if she didn't die. And it's tragic because he really cared about and she cared for him too. Please let me know what you think of this one shot.
