Hermione looked at the clock and sighed. She rolled over and got off the couch, placing her bookmark on the page she was reading. She threw on some jeans and a t-shirt and opened her bedroom door. Draco was standing there, hand out like he was about to reach for the doorknob. She smiled when she saw him. "Hey," she said, "You're back." He bent to kiss her. Hermione smiled against his lips. She hated it when he had to leave, but the homecoming was always nice. Except for right now. She had things to do. She drew back and said, "You're home early. Did it go well, then?" He buried his face in her neck and replied, "Mmhmm." The touch of his lips against her skin set her on fire, distracting her for a moment. A few minutes later, she remembered. "Wait. Not right now." He pushed one of her sleeves out of the way and kissed her shoulder. "Yes, right now. I missed you." Hermione silently agreed. Going a single day without Draco's touch was excruciating, and he had been gone for almost two weeks. Draco purposely used her hesitation to distract her. He kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her, letting her feel his desire for her. Hermione lost herself momentarily, but pulled away. Draco sighed. "Why not right now?" Hermione smiled to herself at his frustrated attitude. "I have to take the kids to practice," she explained. He looked at her in disbelief. "Practice?" She nodded, trying to maintain a serious expression. "Synclaire has piano lessons and Scorpius has dueling training." Draco frowned. "Can't they go another day? Ginny is the instructor, isn't she?" When Hermione nodded, Draco tried to kiss her again, but she stopped him. "But..." she started, but he didn't give her a chance to finish. She tried to pull away again, but his hand had already found the button on her jeans, and few seconds later, she completely forgot that she had anything else to do. Draco was her world. He picked Hermione up and stepped into the bedroom, kicking the door shut behind them.
