Heavenly
I am my angel
'Til death I do
I saw my first angel
And it was you
He was a god among the masses. With skin the color of cream and hair like honey, it was impossible for her not to be in awe every time she set eyes upon him. Moonbeams dulled his assets to a dull shine, but made them look no less desirable than when the glittered brightly in the setting sun, the warm rays reflecting brightly off of his many golden features. No matter what the environmental variables, he never failed to look less than perfect.
First impressions to Clary were vital, and when she first saw Jace at Pandemonium, she was determined entranced. Even though he was in battle stance, killing what had appeared to be a human, he had been able to capture a tiny piece of her heart. Over time, with every glance and every smile, he managed to steal another piece of her affection- her soul. Still, after all of this time, she couldn't help but secretly imagining him with a glowing halo and a pair of feathery wings. Descended from the angels, he was one of God's children. One of the Nephilim.
He told her once that he didn't believe in god, but she hadn't thought much of it. To tell the truth, she wasn't positive that she believed in the immortal being anymore- after all, if he was really out there, wouldn't her mother be awake?
Even though Jace refused to believe in anyone but Raziel along the lines of beings beyond the worlds of purgatory and hell, in Clary's eyes, he was an angel. Her first angel. And he was absolutely heavenly.
