Yeah, this is just some random drabble I cooked up in, like, an hour. Please enjoy!

ac-the-brain-supreme does not own Heroes. If she did, it'd be WAY more fed up than it already is.

The knife is sharp and cuts him worse than anything else he's ever physically come in contact with, but the pain is fleeting and, once the blood begins to pool in his sliced palm, almost pleasureable. Especially when he takes the bleeding hand and touches those lying lips to the wound. There is a small sting when he kisses the wound, but nothing the cut one can't handle. He's already been hurt so much in so many different ways, what would one, two, or even ten more wounds to his body do?

Bloody lips touch his. His wrist, the one connected to the cut palm, is being held gently, lovingly. No. He can't think of emotions like...like love. This man isn't supposed to have emotions. That means he has a heart. He is supposed to be heartless. Absolutely heartless. He has to be after all he's done to those innocent people. To his father. He is a murderer, and that means he's not to be trusted, not to be believed in, not able to love.

Yet, when he kisses him, it's gentle. His lips, leaving smears of crimson blood all over his dark face and lips, only use the smallest of force, if any. They message his lips, and he can't do anything but return the action. When his tongue enters his mouth, letting him taste the coppery blood he has shed, it flicks and flies and touches everything. There is no teeth, as he expects. And that makes it all feel wrong. He needs to be rougher, more demanding. He needs to be the nightmare that he believes him to be.

When they make love, it's slow, sensual, roman--

No, not romantic. He has no heart! He can't have emotions! He can't be romantic!

He needs to be rough! He needs to rip him from the inside out! He needs to make him cry out of fear and pain, not out of joy and pleasure! He should laugh and smirk at the tears, not kiss them and wipe them away! He has to hold him down with all the power he has, not hold him tenderly, like if he was a treasure, fragile and precious! He shouldn't be this way! He just shouldn't!

And...in bed afterwards...he can't lie next to him, holding him close, stubbly chin rested in the soft, dark curls. He can't whisper to him in a voice so soft that he can barely hear. He can't kiss him gently. He can't say "I love you". He can't. He just can't!

And he definitely can't ask when he hears the sobs, "Mohinder, what's wrong?" in a voice so caring, so uncharacteristically kind, that Mohinder remembers the days of Zane Taylor and the love he had for him.

That's why he doesn't answer him and continues to sob for the love that shouldn't exist between the two of them. That's why he wishes that cut from before gets infected and slowly kills him.
