A World People Believe They Belong

By: Sodo

There is a world that has ended; people believe in our world that this is the most excruciating. But this world that has ended holds no generations of families, no one to be born and no one to die. This world holds no millennium of era time, making any hope for memories of the past or looking to the far future gone.

Who ever this anonymous person was that created this world only one spot of life lives within it. In an old, slovenly run down house lives a girl clad in only a white dress, she had brown hair and eyes and no emotion to show for it. She has languished within this world for there is no one for her to keep her company.

Outside of this rundown house there is a field of pampas grass everywhere where the eye can see, the skies are always carrying clouds overhead. But that is not what makes it most beautiful, a luminous shower of light that pervaded everywhere on the field. Each light floated up towards the sky making it simulate bright snow flying back into the sky. To the girl these lights were overwhelmed with serene memories once held in this world before it ended.

This lonesome and restive girl soon became too ardent with loneliness and began to look everywhere she could to go to find requisite pieces of junk to rectify and alleviate this world's wrong. With this junk, she made an impersonation of a special friend she could rely on if she was ever lonely. This child would always affirm her with company whenever she would feel lonely; this child will always be benign to her.

But will the child be engulfed with happiness to be in a world like this?

Making this child was not facilitated for the girl, it was a great hindrance, but she was adept when it came to making a new life into this world. The girl had flair and perpetuated with all her heart making such a child. When the child was finally born it looked like small doll made of junk, but was yet impeccable on the inside. This made the girl truly happy, but this uneasy query echoed within her heart. The girl happily took great care of the doll and showed it what she had seen; the field of light was the utmost bizarre to the doll.

The doll soon became weighed down with loneliness and decided to make a new friend out of junk like it; the girl pitched in intently and helped to alleviate her friend's loneliness. They both believed they had the culmination to create life on this world. But...when the new child was finished it did not move. While the girl was lolling with exhaustion, the doll tried to make the new child move it did not move at all. The girl cried telling her friend sorry over and over again, and brought the new, useless child outside. To commemorate this unborn child the girl made a nameless grave in front of the old house to never forget such a precious child.

The doll then gestured it wanted to make something new. The girl thought it wanted to make a new friend, but it gestured that it was imminent that they could find another world filled with life besides here. This world the doll spoke of was its home and it wanted to take her to show her true happiness. The trip to that warm and bustling world was long, and when they finally found what they were looking for, they sang.
