Hatred Owns The Heart
Victoria barred her teeth and growled. For a moment she stopped and looked dead, but then she shrieked. It wasn't a normal shriek, but one that tore apart the forest and killed everything inside a human. She raked her hands across the ground and sprang up, jumping nimbly onto low branches of maples. She ripped the trunk out of the ground, and for a couple nanoseconds, she fell with it. Then she gathers momentum and swung onto another tree. And in the same fashion, she managed to destroy almost a quarter of Seattle's national forests.
How dare they??!! Her lover, the only creature she had ever connected with. She knew that the youngest Cullen brother thought she was an animal and that she didn't have feeling and emotions, but the truth was that she did. Surprise, surprise.
Suddenly she was overwhelmed. Too many emotions. She threw out the last tree and sat down, right on the forest floor. For a minute she just sat there. Then the force of grief and desire and denial and sadness beyond comparison hit her. The realization became real. She didn't want to accept it hut she acknowledged it. James, her one friend, the only vampire she had ever met that she hadn't despised or loathed, the only undead person she believed to truly know her, was dead. Gone. Never coming back.
She was going to get revenge, oh yes. She was in no way, shape, or form letting the idiot Cullen family get away. She knew the bronze haired boy had killed her lover.
So now she was going to kill his. A mere human, the girl would be no trouble. The family might, but she could handle them. She would find a way. Only when the girl was dead would the boy understand. He would understand her pain, the raw numbness and anger she was experiencing. The revenge she wanted was a good as already done. Nothing would stop her.
Bella Swan was a dead little duck.
