A oneshot I wrote while I was alone at home. Dark, because I just wanted to get everything off of me. Sorry for spelling or grammar mistakes. It isn't beta-ed and English isn't my native tongue.

Everything was so clear. The path her feet followed, the air on her face. And the pain.

Although it didn't matter anymore, she remembered it. A terrible, bone-breaking pain. But now all she felt, was a deep calmness.

She knew that she walked towards the Astronomy tower. But nothing mattered anymore. She didn't feel betrayed or alone anymore.
Her insides were filled with sureness about her doing. Not even Draco mattered anymore.

Draco…He had been her lifeline. He had brought her back to life, when she thought she couldn't go on. He had been the one, who had put her pieces together, the one who had made her happy. And he was the one, who destroyed her completely. She just couldn't forget the expression on his face after she walked in on them. A mixture of deep pain and shock. And on him was SHE.

The bitch that had made her life living hell before him. Ginny Weasley. Girlfriend of Harry Potter, sister of Ronald Weasley. After the war, which had been won by the "Good ones", she blamed Hermione for Harry's death. She wouldn't even listen to Hermione. All she did was screaming at her and then breaking in tears. That hypocritical bitch. She just did all this drama because Harry was famous. About Ron, her brother, who also died, she didn't care. It was only Harry.

Although she knew all this, soon Hermione blamed herself for Harry's death. Until Draco came. He didn't listen to the things Ginny said. He thought it was alone Harry's fault that he died. At first, Hermione didn't believe him. But slowly, oh so slowly, she trusted him. She let him save her until he became her reason for live. She truly loved him. And she knew that this love would never die. Even after his betrayal, she loved him.

But she had to get away. And this she would do. Soon it all would be gone.

The view over the grounds of Hogwarts from the Astronomy tower was marvelous.

She thought one last time of Draco as she stood on the edge of the tower.

"I love you, now and forever." She whispered.

And then she sprang.

But out of nothing a hand caught her waist and pulled her back.

She broke down. She didn't look at her savior. All she knew was that now she had to endure the horror of Draco's betrayal. She struggled in the arms of her captor.

"No please listen to me." A clearly male and terrible familiar voice said, no, pleaded.

"I love you and I never stopped loving you."

Her pain faded a little bit.

"But why did you cheat on me, Draco? Why with Ginny?".

"I didn't want to cheat on you. But I had no choice. She said she would kill you if I didn't sleep with her. I would do anything to save you."

"And where is she now?"

"She isn't anymore. And she will never hurt you."

Slowly Hermione turned around. And then, she smiled.
