It's My first ONESHOT

While Gabriella was driving home from Troy's house she heard a hiss, and felt the car jerk. She pulled off to the side of the road and thanked the heavens above taht she wasn't on a busy street. She got out of her car and saw that her right front tire was flat.

"Shit, how am I going to fix this one?" She asked herself.

"Gabi, can you come outside for a few minutes?"

"Okay Daddy!" A seven year old with long brown cirls said. She set down her Dr.Seuss book and skipped outside. "Daddy! what's wrong with the tire?" She asked looking at the completely deflated tire on their family's white minivan.

" Were gunna put the spare on, because this one broke."

"OOH! Can I help?!"

"Of course!" Mr. Montez said as he put the jack under the van and lifted it up.

"Now you're going to take those bolts off." Gabriella grabbed the star wrench and struggled with is for a few minutes before asking her dad for help. "Daddy, can you loosen them just a little bit for me please?"

"Of course sweetheart" After Mr. Montez had loosened them Gabrielle took all of the lug nuts off and jumped up and shouted, "I did it Daddy! Daddy.. I DID IT!!!!" Mr. Montez picked Gabriella up and spun her around. "Good Job sweety!"

As the memory faded, Gabriella let out a faint smile and got to work. She pulled the tools she needed out, and she struggled to lift the spare tire out. She followed what her dad showed her some ten years ago, but this time, with tears in her eyes.

She jacked the car up, and took the lugnuts off, this time with out her dads help. Then she switched the tires out, re did the lug nuts, and lowered the car. After she put the flat and the rest of the tools back into the trunk of her car she sank to the road and cried into her arms. After a few minutes she looked towards the sky and whispered, "I miss you Daddy. But I did it, I did it all by myself Daddy! You didn't even have to loosen the lug nuts for me." As she stood up the wind blew around her, enveloping her into a warm cocoon. Good Job Sweety She heard in her ear as she drove off.
