The Demon Within
I feel it inside me everyday
Hungry for the blood of others.
I feel it prowling close to
The surface of my mind.
Every time I look at others
I feel their blood on my hands.
The closer I get to someone
The more I want to taste their blood.
I don't want this beast inside of me
I wish I could get it out.
My mother died to give me life
My father tried to take it.
My brother and sister are scared of me
They sense it's growing power.
One day I won't be able to hold it
One day it will break its bounds.
When that day comes I'll kill them all.
I'll bathe the town in their blood.
One day I'll make you pay
But until that day, I'll let you live.
