After I watched Part 2 of Alice, I was so happy!!! This is a one-shot about Hatter and Alice, who I think are so adorable together!! This is Alice's POV from when she leaves wonderland to when Hatter visits and after. Enjoy!!!
"Don't forget to breathe." The man in the white said as he pushed Alice through the looking glass.
She wasn't expecting the rush of falling down; of course she did forget to breathe. As she fell she thought about wonderland.
Alice would miss Charlie and Hatter, but most of all Hatter. She thought about their awkward goodbye. For sure Alice though Hatter would ask her to stay. And she would have stayed if he asked, but only fro him. Then all of the sudden he hit the ground and blacked out.
Alice opened her eyes. She was in a hospital room. Why was she in a hospital room? Her mom was sitting in front of her.
"He's gone."
"Who's gone?" Her mom asked.
"Dad." Then Alice started to cry and her mom leaned down to hug her. After a moment she recovered. "How long was I there?"
"An hour." Her mom said.
"An hour?" Alice asked.
"A construction worker found you."
Later she was home. Alice decided to pack away her dads things. There was no point in keeping them out. As she finished she found her copy of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Book, and she automatically thought about Hatter. And she never thought she would miss him as much as she did. She heard the doorbell ring.
"Alice come meet David." Her mom called from down the hall.
Alice put down the book and walked down the hallway to meet the construction worker. As she reached the end and looked up and meet eyes with the construction worker.
"Hatter!" She yelled and ran to hug him, she felt him hug her back tightly. It felt so good to hug him, she was happy that it wasn't that awkward.
"Finally." Hatter said smiling.
"You have no idea I am to see you." Alice said. They pulled away for a moment and looked at each other for a split second before they both started to lean in but Hatter was the one to kiss her.
Alice was happy to finally kiss him. She remembered their almost kiss, and being interrupted by Jack. But this moment was perfect. They broke apart for a moment letting their foreheads touch.
"I've missed you." Hatter said and they kissed once again. She wasn't sure whether it was for finally seeing her, or kissing her, or hugging her. But these thoughts didn't keep her occupied she was caught up in the moment of kissing Hatter.
"Ahem." Alice heard her mom clear her throat. She realized she would have to explain this all to her mom.
"Uh, this is Hatter." Alice told her mom, they weren't hugging each other anymore, but Hatter had his arm around her waist and she was leaning into him. Finally they couldn't just be happy and not worry about anything…well except her mom.
"Hello Ms. Hamilton. " Hatter said holding out his hand. Her mom shook his, but still looked shocked.
"Nice to meet you…Hatter." Her mom said, and Hatter smiled and nodded.
Alice knew it would take her mom a while to get use to Hatter, but in time she would. And she also knew that she had finally found the one, she knew she had thought it many times before, but this time her luck was changing and Hatter was finally the one.
