Hello readers, who I presume are mostly of the Human species, I am Starora, the author of this work. This page that you are currently viewing will be, I guess, a sort of fact-file/FAQ type area - so, basically, a gigantic trivia bundle about whatever is going on with this story and the shenanigans that are going to occur. And, trust me, a lot of shenanigans are bound to happen.
About the story:
This story, The Dalekanium Box, is a Doctor Who fanfiction but it is designed to be more like the show as there is none of the usual (rather smushy and romancey) stuff that you would find in most other stories on here (sorry!), it is seperated into episodes, much like you would see on television. Each episode contains individually named chapters that are published on the updating days (Tuesdays and Thursdays). The first episode is called Under The Dalekanium, it acts as a starting point which sets off a whole load of adventures, and, although there seem to be loose ends, they will be tied up later - as is usually (but not always) done on the actual show. After the first main episode, there will be several shorter stories that chronicle the adventures of the Doctor and friends - and a pretty cool spin-off that I have planned for whilst the series is airing!
Yes, there will be a lot of action, sciency things, and Daleks (so many Daleks), but there will also be cool characters (that come in both cinnamon AND Dalekanium flavours! Wow!), humour, and incredibly stupid stuff. Seriously, you should just read for the stupid stuff. That is a very good suggestion.
Honestly, this story is going to just be a mash of all sorts of things that I wish would happen on Doctor Who but probably never will. There will be all sorts of chaos and alien adventures to read, many new characters and species will be introduced - plus, former Doctor Who characters will be making appearences! I have a few ideas lined up already for cool stuff (I have an idea for the next story, sort of), but it would be nice if I could have reader contributions too! I will be setting up a forum topic for this story soon and you will be able to give suggestions and take part in polls to choose what characters appear!
As I said before, updates should occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays (although I might be busy... Sleeping), but I will also randomly end up adding character fact files, wierd essays, and some bizzare one-page stories (these may appear on weekends, most likely) to help fill the wait between chapters! This may also be because I like Daleks too much and just want to constantly write about how awesome they are (Daleks are awesome).
So, if you lwould like to read things with Doctor Who, action, and some rather peculiar commentary, I suggest that you read this and give me feedback! Please give me feedback, it helps! Also, if you spot any mistakes (whether it be spelling or factual) please notify me and save me from years of infinite suffering!

Q - Does this story intend to fit in with Doctor Who canon?
A - Yes. However, if I do want to add in some of my own ideas (which I have a few of and really want to include... But maybe later) I will try to make wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff happen to make it so that it fits in with canon as much as possible (this may involve brainwashing, sorry).
Q - When in the Doctor Who timeline does the story start?
A - It starts sometime after series eight, with The Twelfth Doctor and Clara travelling in the TARDIS.
Q - What will you do when series 9 starts?
A - I have a plan! It involves a really good spin-off revolving around one of the characters that I have made for the main story. And it may (or may not) be a spin-off of a spin-off... And the first part of it will be a spin-off of TWO spin-offs? Don't ask how.
Q - When does this story update?
A - I am trying to update on Tuesdays and Thursdays (it literally says so above! Twice!), however, that may change as I am both busy and forgetful. Have fun with the random update times because I am not that accurate! Some updates will be earlier than others!
Q - How do you spellcheck the story?
A - I don't and hope for the best! My spelling is usually pretty good but I am often tired, so mistakes happen.
Q - Will any previous Doctor Who characters be appearing?
A - Yes, yes, and yes. I may even have polls to allow the readers to choose characters to appear in the story!
Q - Will there be pairings?
A - Not unless they are already canon. I am trying to keep the story as similar to an actual episode of Doctor Who... Except, you know, with fewer plot holes.
Q - So no smutty yaoi then?
A - Why would you even suggest that!?

Q - Who is your favourite Doctor?
A - All of them. Every single one of them. Although, if I had to choose... Jon Pertwee, the third Doctor.
Q - And your favourite Doctor Who villain?
A - As previously mentioned, it is the Daleks, I somehow find them adorable. Don't question it.
Q - Favourite episode?
A - Love And Monsters. I guess it is an odd choice for a favourite, but it was a really good and sad episode. I cried.
Q - Least favourite episode?
A - The Girl In The Fireplace. Clockwork Droids have always creeped me out.
Q - Why do you use the word 'however' so often?
A - I do not know the answer to that question. It may be alien interference trying to increase the use of the word, however, it might just be a habit.
Q - Are you Human?
A - Possibly. I am most certainly not a rogue Dalek in disguise, I can tell you that! Ha ha ha...
