Disclaimer: I do not own the following superstars or the origin of this story. It's a simple remake.
Warnings: None.

Randy Orton was in St. Louis for the weekend, and staying at his parent's home for the time there. One morning he drove to a nearby store to pick something up for his father. As he was walking along the street, he saw Death. Death signaled him to come closer by moving his index finger. This gave Randy quite a scare.

Randy drove back to his parent's home as fast as he could and told his father what had happened. "You must be seeing things. How could you have seen him?" Bob Orton wasn't sure what to make of Randy's occurrence. "I'll just go into the city, I'll go around and about, he won't see me, and he won't be able to find me."

His father nodded, and Randy got into his vehicle and sped off. After Randy had left, Bob went down the street, near the same store Randy had been so he could look for Death. When Bob saw Death, he asked, "What do you want with my son? For crying out loud, he's young…nothing can happen to him."

"I am sorry for causing such a fuss," said Death. "I didn't really mean to beckon him. But I was somewhat surprised to see him around here. Well, because I have an appointment with him later on…in the city."

Author's Notes: This is one of my many favorite classic ghost stories. For some reason, when I was a child I'd have trouble understanding the story but now I understand. It wasn't hard finding out who would be the main character in this tale. When I first read it, I automatically thought Randy Orton. Hoped you enjoyed it, I'll be sure to write more. First off, I'd like to create my own classic ghost story with more chapters ha-ha.
