Temptation

Malfoy pushed his bookshelf aside, entered the hidden passageway, and climbed the loft at the end. He reached a trunk (one of many equally dusty and unassuming stored there), spelled open the eight locks, and climbed inside. Several wards activated the moment the lid fell shut behind him. He dropped from the ladder straight onto a bed.

Once settled on the bed, he reverently carefully settled something on his lap. One end of a cord went into the wall. The other went into a port. Malfoy pressed the On button.

The laptop sprang to life.

Draco Malfoy opened the Internet.


A.N. Because, what rich kid would honestly resist the power and prestige of such technology? Though that might just be the bias of the modern muggle teenager. (And yes, I was thinking of a Mac when I wrote this.)
