~Chibi Stratus sighs, "Does anyone here think I own these characters and keep them locked up in my closet? (Along with all my other intergalactic heroes) NO! If not, speak now, or forever hold your peace. 'WAIT! I own Quatre, the Technical Pixie!' NO YOU DON'T!!! Shudup Chibi Lurrel! Thank you. On to Noin's POV piece."
A Few Sour Words
"Oh Zechs." The words seem sour as I shove them out of my mouth.
Is that all you have to say?
No, of course not. The little shards of stability left inside me scream your name. The flood of half-formed theories and pleas seems to stop up my throat before I can say something meaningful.
You are not the one I worshipped. You inhabit some horrible shadow of yourself; the only life left is in your eyes.
Your eyes; half-alive with insanity. I've lost all control. I sit and watch you destroy what's in your path. You've lost your cause.
Your shadow bathes the earth in deafening, nuclear, white light. You used to fight, now you only kill.
And I stare at some damn computer screen, watching you sit and dissolve. Farewell honor, wisdom, hope.
"Oh Zechs." I run my fingers through my hair and wish it weren't true.
What made you this shadow, this empty body? You stopped hoping. Hoping.
When you star into the stars, Zechs, what do you see? What you saw was something, a conflict that would never end. You've forgotten the future you are fighting for. You've forgotten how to fight, you've remembered how to hate. Exclusively...
Oh yes, The Earth.
You were too wise; wisdom is pain. Where are you now, Zechs? I'll keep on hoping even though you've given up. I'll hope twice as much for you.
I'll wait for you until you become solid again. I'll keep hoping...even if you'll never come back to me.
"Oh Zechs," Forever.
