The Animal I have Become

"Back off, Berry!" Quinn growled.

Rachel's expression turned to one of a deer in headlights, the look in her eyes a mix between shock and fear as she became frighteningly mesmerized by the blonde's eyes. Which, in a blink, had gone from average to being devoured by a demonic black color.

"I've been waiting for this opportunity for so long, Berry, and I swear…if you mess this up I won't hesitate to rip out your throat and put an end to that disgustingly chipper singing of yours."

Another blink and Quinn's normal eyes returned before she spun sharply on her heel, leaving the auditorium. Rachel Berry was left on shaky legs, barely managing to get a grasp on the piano to lower herself to the accompanying chair, rendered completely speechless.

Quinn led Rachel to the gym's bathroom. Kurt had just been announced as prom queen

"You did this to me!"

Rachel's heart was pounding in her ribcage; Quinn was scary before, but now that she had those glassy black orbs turned on her, the blond was positively terrifying. Rachel knew exactly what she wanted to say, but she couldn't get her mouth to cooperate.

She felt the slap before it registered. The bloom of pain on her cheek that whipped her head sideways, the harsh gulps of breath that Quinn was taking, it was all magnified in the empty bathroom. Rachel had always thought school bathrooms felt weird when you spent time in them after school. She knew she'd never see this bathroom the same after tonight.

Quinn's heels clicking away were the soundtrack to her heart breaking.

Rachel's sight slowly faded away. Her whole body hurt and she slowly fell to the floor, she just can't understand why Quinn is acting this way, this isn't her. "Why would he choose me over her?" she asked to herself that moment "Why?" She cried down her love to the girl as she palmed her cheek, sobbing to the straight girl.
