Naruto Uzumaki was a warrior.
He was born one.
Not because of some long lost bloodline, his capacity or even his potential but simply because he was one.
He was simply born one. Born to fight, born to survive and adapt.
The day he graduated was the day he became more of a warrior.
Those blue, azure eyes held a storm brewing ahead.
He beat Mizuki to a pulp – a helluva way to graduate.
His body assured fighting Haku and winning was a guarantee. He was also inspired by Haku to fight for his precious people.
His fight with Orochimaru made him stronger, better equipped to survive. Orochimaru despised Naruto further until his own demise.
The Chunnin Exam battle with Kiba made his instincts sharper. Kiba knew better to underestimate him again.
His "destiny" crushed Neji as much as he crushed Hinata. He taught him humility. Neji became Naruto's third blood brother.
He saved the village from being wiped out from the once malevolent Gaara. He taught him friendship and love. Gaara is Naruto's second blood brother.
He persuaded Tsunade Of The Senju Clan to come back to Konoha, and lead their country. Tsunade falls in love for his strength and desire to become Hokage.
Even when he could not save Sasuke Uchiha from the darkness, he fought to become stronger.
Stronger to save his brother. He was taught to never submit to the pathetic feelings of revenge and the sordidness feelings of desire to kill one.
He was a warrior.
And his warrior resolve, will, and body came under the watchful eyes of Konoha. Some respectful, some full of worship, some still of hatred and some who felt sorry for him.
But these days, it was very common for A simple pearl gaze from a certain Hyuuga was then also a glossy silver blue-eyed glance of a Yamanaka. And then the earthly brown eyes of one weapon mistress of Konoha. He even had gotten an emerald wanton look from his beloved teammate, who turned inside her head and said she was reserved for another man. She still looks to this day.
His resolve to bring back Sasuke, find his own way of dealing with people without the need to cease their breathing and earn his way to the top of the ladder and lead his village was stronger. In battle, he did not talk the talk if he did not walk the walk. He knew his limits – boundless, yes, but he knew who was stronger than him and never was too prideful to give them their respect. This just added to his training even more.
And train he did.
He got back Gaara, defeated Kakuzu, survived Itachi.
Even when Jiraiya died, Naruto never gave up. The traces of the malevolent energies of vengeance came before him, offering him power. He did not take the path.
He instead beat Pein to the ground because he razed the village in front of the Uzumaki's eyes, destroyed many lives out of his own pitiful revenge. Naruto showed him revenge is a sword that in the end stab its user in the chest. Pein died with a smile and peaceful knowledge in his head.
And Naruto was faced with Sasuke Uchiha and Madara Uchiha – two new threats in the horizon.
Naruto grinned to himself, 'Piece of cake.'
In a year later, Naruto Uzumaki was Rokudaime of the Village Hidden In the Leaves. In six months, Sasuke Uchiha was brought back to the village, several bones broken, and a mandible close to broken altogether. Madara Uchiha was forever gone from the village, the counties and everything else.
Naruto Uzumaki, warrior and leader – those blue, azure eyes held a storm brewing ahead.
Only next path to conquer was the path of a woman.
Which Mr. Uzumaki had, in spades.
