Iggy
Iggy is a 14 year old kid, who has had a harsh life. First of all, Iggy has large bird wings that allow him to fly. This was due to being at the "School", where scientists toy with children's' genes by adding different substances from animals to their bodies. He lived in animal crates for most of the beginning, with other creatures. The only creatures that out lived the experiments were erasers (wolfish-like people) and others like him or his so-called "siblings" including, Maximum, Gasman, Angel, Nudge, and Fang.
Though his life was horrible in a dog crate and suffering "abuse", it got worse. The scientist used him to test an experiment to enhance vision, but ended up leaving him blind. He has no problem with being blind and has found ways to live, such as getting frequently escorted by his "siblings" (mostly Gasman). He also seems to have the ability of very accurate smell, hearing, and touch, and can identify if there is a wall or blockage in front of him.
Iggy is not hopeless like it seems im describing him. He is actually very capable of multiple things. When he finally escapes the "School" with his "family", he is able to experience and find his special ability. Surprisingly, he has a abnormal ability to create bombs and explosions in short periods of time. He also has a great ability to cook, which I mentioned a lot throughout the book. In the book, Iggy is an important character who protects the "flock" and helps them in many ways. Without Iggy, or any of the other characters, the "flock" would be "eraser food."
