She's one of us

Summary: After the lost of Jean, the X-men are not looking for a replacement. But faith has

something else in mind, in the form of a stranger from Angel Grove, Cali.

Logan sat in his room looking out at the spacious garden of Xavier's school for gifted

youngsters. It had been eight months since he had lost Jean. And he was mad as hell that

she wasn't by his side anymore.

"Logan, may I come in?" asked Ororo, as she slighty poked her head into Logans

doorway.

"Yeah, you can come in." Logan said as he kept looking out the window.

"You know that today we have visitation today, and we need all staff available. Just in case

something goes wrong." Storm said as she walked over towards Logan.

"Yeah, I know." Logan said.

"They're here, they're here!" yelled a voice in the hallway.

"Well come on Logan, lets go." Storm began to walk out, but Logan was still facing the

window. Storms eyes began to glaze over. The wind started to pick up, and the skies

darkened. "Wolv, unless you wanna get struck by lighting, I highly suggest you get up now."

Logan did not want to feel the wrath of Storm, so he obligued.

"Ok, I get it." Logan grabbed his pack of cigarattes and headed outside. There was a crowd

of visitors from Angel Grove, California. They wanted to visit and tour the school. A sweet,

flowerly fragrance could be smelled by Logan. Also mixed into it was an overwhelming

sense of the X gene. His nose searched the crowd and his eyes followed. His nose

pinpointed a girl, getting of the bus. She was petite, carmel brown skin, had long braids,

and was wearing a yellow tank and capris. Logan rushed to find Storm and tell her

that the girl was a mutant.

"Storm."

"What is is Logan?" asked Storm. Her face grew concerned at the sight of the intensity

on Logans face.

"That girl over in the yellow tank, she's one of us."
