My version of who should have gone with andy to take her dad to his first AA meeting.
I Will Stand By You
"Dad you will be fine, if you need me just call me promise? " Andy said as she leaned in to hug her father as she dropped him off at his first AA meeting. She never though this day would come. It finally has and she was glad it was today because she didn't think she could have gotten through today without a somewhat happy ending.
As she saw her dad walk through the doors she heard someone yell McNally as soon as the Mc was out of his mouth she knew who it was and if she wasn't lying too herself she wasn't surprised too see him here either.
"Sam how did you know I was here?"
"Because McNally I know you" He said with a wink.
"Sam Seriously!"
"Okay okay I over heard you talking too Callaghan. I figured you might need a little company since you "boyfriend" had too work as usual. I have dropped some of my old buddies off at their first meeting it can be hard. Do you wanna talk?
She couldn't help but remember the last time he said those words how that ended. She couldn't help but want too open up too him she liked the fact that he was there for her when she needed to talk but it also scared her that it was him that was therefore her and not Luke.
It's just hard ya know. I never though I would ever see this day where I would finally drop him off at a meeting. And after today I was ready say enough is enough I can't do this anymore. Today I really though my dad murdered someone. I don't care if the guy deserved it or not, I though my dad killed someone!
By this time she was crying and Sam could feel his heart breaking. He just pulled her into a hug and whispered into her ear "I will stand by you"
