Another original Theodore Tugboat story, this time it's "Tugboat Halloween" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

It was Halloween time at the Big Harbor, and all the tugboats were excited to celebrate the holiday.

One morning, the Dispatcher made a special announcement to all the tugboats.

"We are going to have a special Halloween parade at the Big Harbor." he announced. "I want all of you to dress up in your costumes for all the people to see."

All the tugboats had already decided on their costumes.

"I'm dressing up as a pumpkin." said Theodore.

"I'm going to be a turtle." said Emily.

"I'm going to be a baseball player." said George.

"I'm going to be a fireman." said Foduck.

But the only engine that hadn't decided on a costume was Hank.

"So Hank, what are you going to be?" asked Theodore.

"I'm not sure yet." replied Hank as he steamed away. "But I'll think about it!"

Later, Hank was tooting around the Big Harbor, when he noticed something big and strange just sitting in the water.

Hank was feeling scared.

"Hello there."

The voice was Leland, who was a barge.

"Who are you?" asked Hank.

"You've probably never seen me before. I'm Leland. I come from the North Shore."

"Leland, what should I be for Halloween?" asked Hank.

"Is this for the Halloween parade?"

"Yes, and I need a costume idea."
"Well, your name is Hank, right?"
"Yes."
"What makes you special Hank?"

"I'm the fastest tugboat in the Big Harbor!"

Leland stopped to think for a few minutes.

"I know exactly what you should be!"

"What?"
"A volcano!"

Hank smiled. He loved this idea.

"That's perfect! Just like the V-word I would pick."

Just then, Scally tooted over.

"Hello everyone!" he said. "What are you two up to?"
"I'm going to be a volcano!" exclaimed Hank.

"I can give you some stuff to help you look nice for the parade." said Scally.

Hank tooted good-bye to Leland, and set off with Scally.

That night, the Halloween parade was a great success! Everyone loved Hank's volcano costume so much, that they clapped and cheered and clapped some more!

Hank felt very happy.
