Here is another little GaLe snippet inspired by chapter 453 and 454, so there may or may not be spoilers. Did anyone else notice that little bit where Gajeel and Levy are in the smae bed?! I almoast died!
Into the Frey
Gajeel looked down at Levy beside him. She was half asleep, with that soft smile warming her face. She was practically glowing, but the loud clang of the warning bell outside brought her awake with a frown on her lips.
"The enemy? Now?"
Gajeel glared out the window, as if one look could send the enemy packing until the morning. Unfortunatly, it was going to take a bit more than that. Gajeel chuckled his signature gihihi, then crawled out of bed.
Levy sighed and tracked down her missing clothing.
Gajeel noticed the creces running across her tiny forehead, so he slung his arm around her small shoulders and planted a soft kiss on the top of her head.
"Don't worry Shrimp, ah'll keep ya safe."
Levy smiled lightly, "I know Gajeel, but who will protect you?"
Gajeel laughed happily, "like ah said, don't worry Shrimp. Sides, I aint goin' in alone. Salamander and the little girl will be with me. Lilly too."
Levy nodded, "logically I know you'll be okay, but I still can't shake this feeling."
Gajeel patted her head, then was gone.
Levy sighed and sat down on her bed. She muttered a quiet prayer, then grabbed her pen and headed to the guild. She had to focus! Everyone would be counting on eachother. Not one member could slack off in their work or all would be lost. From the road Levy could see fifty ships in the sky, flying in from the west.
"The west? But-!" she paused, "I'm sure the first thought of this posibility. She's not the master stratigist for nothing."
Levy broke out into a run and burst through the doors.
"Which plan are we going with?!"
This is realllly short, but I feel like it could show a good posibility what happened, right? I probably got a few details wrong, so I'm sorry if I did, but this is just a little thought. I hope you enjoyed!
