Disclaimer: The character Jasmine is based off the character in Disney's Aladdin and I do not own her.
Also just be warned this is about two girls falling in love, for anyone who doesn't want to read that.
Jasmine was overwhelmed by the market. It was nothing like the quiet dignity of the palace. People were everywhere shouting out what they had to sell. She clutched her shall tighter around her and stopped beside a stall selling beautiful bouquets of flowers. She bent her head to sniff them. They smelled of beautiful after the smell of the market. She wasn't used to the smell of sweat, animals and food all mixed together so strongly.
She raised her head, the flower seller was smiling at her. She smiled back.
'How about these?' the girl offered her a bunch of beautiful purple flowers.
'I don't have any money,' Jasmine lamented.
She knew from her previous near escape that you couldn't take things offered to you at the market without money. If it hadn't been for Aladdin she would have lost a hand. Then an idea struck her.
'Would you accept this in exchange?' she asked pulling off an ornate silver bracelet.
'No I could not accept that everyone would think I stole it, how did you come by such a thing?' she asked.
'My father gave it to me,' said Jasmine, 'would you accept a ring instead?' she slid a simple silver ring off her finger.
Giggling the flower girl held out her hand and Jasmine slipped it onto her finger. Then the flower girl picked up the flowers and handed them to Jasmine. As Jasmine leaned forward to accept the flowers the girl leaned forward suddenly and planted a soft kiss on her mouth. Jasmine's eyes widened in astonishment, then she closed her eyes and kissed the girl back.
