Dear Diary,

Hi Diary! It's Zelda! This is my first entry. I'm fifteen and I attend a high school in the United States. My schedule is Spanish, Government, Math1, Lunch, Bio, Gym 2nd period of Bio on Thursdays, Math2 and finally English! Wooo! 3 I'm in a band with Ruto and Malon, we're called "Din's Fire". I'm a drummer in it and it's so great! D

Enough of that boring stuff, my day was so great that you don't even know, diary! We got our

second semester seats today and I sit next to very hot guys in three of my classes! It's

wonderful! In Biology I sit next to this boy, Kafei. Kafei's a druggie with a divorced mom and

dad. I feel so bad for him...he's failing most his classes but it's not that he's not smart. I

try to help him when I can but he sits there and plays on his cellphone. He's fun to talk to

though, I love his hair. In Spanish, I sit next to the STAR Basketball player! His name is

Mikau. He's so much fun to poke, diary! Even though he doesn't like it, I secretly think he does.

Oh and finally I sit next to this boy, Link, in Math2. He's just to DIE for. He doesn't care

about how he looks to people and he has BEAUTIFUL hair. He has a great personality that mirrors

my own. It's wonderful...I wonder if he has a girlfriend?... I can't think about that. Let me

remind you, Diary, that I'm ridiculously un-popular. Diary, I only have seven friends! Malon,

Ruto, Romani, Nabooru, Anju, Saria and our friend, Darmani. Malon and Ruto are my best friends.

Darmani likes to make fun of me alot and I don't like it, though he says he doesn't mean any

harm, It hurts my feelings. I think he's gay. Ruto is so cool. She has so many problems in her

life, like her mom not being there for her and her father having cancer/heart blockages...she's

so strong and pretty. I'm lucky she's one of my best friends, diary. Malon just kicks ass with

guitar it's not even funny. I went over her house the other day, diary, and we played around with

her guitar and then we chased a tennis ball in the bushes for hours. It was fun, diary! Romani is

my crazed friend who, for some reason doesn't like to eat lunch during our lunch break. It

worries me sometimes but that's alright. Malon accuses Romani of making chewing movements when

Malon eats, it's hilarious to watch. Anju is so pretty but so many people are jealous of her that

they make fun of her and so she feels unwanted. But I love her anyway, she's great and funny.

Saria has cancer, unfortunately. It's so sad, and her parents are divorced too. I don't know how

she makes it through the day. She's so strong. I wish I could be strong like Anju, Ruto and Saria.

Diary! I was sitting next to Link today in Math! He was playing some game on his calculator. I

asked him if he's ever had Ramen before and he said 'No'! Can you believe that, Diary? I was

shocked...and made fun of him for it. I love his eyes, Diary! They're just breathtakingly blue.

We're just friends right now, Diary so it's not like it'll turn into anything special. I mean,

he's so popular and I have no chance with him. For some reason though, I get this feeling that

he's different from the rest...I don't know why, diary. It's so hard to talk to him without

swarms of preps around him like during Lunch and after school. He's athletic, diary! He's on the

Varsity Tennis team and he's thin. His stomach is so much fun to poke too. Anyway, Diary, it's

time for me to go. I'll write a new entry tomorrow!
