This is a one-shot. I like the way it ends and I don't feel like adding to it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. If I did, would I be on here?

He'd done his research carefully. Lily had a Muggle cousin with her emerald green eyes. He washed his hair in the shower and put it in a ponytail. He then put on a pair of jeans and a clean T-shirt. He could easily just use the Imperius curse to get her into the bedroom, but that was no fun. He wanted to have a bit of fun.

She was no match to his charms. Oh, yes, he had charms when he wanted to use them. He refilled the wine bottle with his wand under the table while she became increasingly talkative and giggly. He had wanted to go with firewhiskey, but the stuff could kill Muggles.

At last, they went to the bedroom.

The cousin couldn't remember the man who had gotten her pregnant. But now she was being wheeled into a hospital room. She was in so much pain. She screamed.

And he was there, holding her hand, looking deep into her eyes and telling her to hold on. He was calling her Lily. She hadn't seen Lily in years. She just wanted the pain to end.

And then she was cradling an infant in her arms. Her daughter had emerald green eyes.

Lily's cousin was sleeping peacefully, her eyes closed. It made it so much easier for him to do, because he couldn't see Lily's accusing eyes. He pointed his wand at her.

"Obliviate!"

She forgot her daughter. She forgot the man.

He'd meant to kill her. How could he be so weak?

At least he finally had her now.

His daughter.

Lily Snape.
