America sighed as Korea let out another stream of weeping, Korean gibberish.
The Korean had been on like this for hours. America had been invited over for a K-drama marathon, and while America had to admit that most of the dramas were actually pretty good, he was beginning to wonder whether the "dramatic" part referred to the dramas themselves or Korea's reactions to them.
"No way!" Korea cried again, waving at the screen with a floppy sleeve. "Look! Oh, man! Oh man!" He let out a little choked noise as it was revealed that the main character's fiancé, who had secretly been in another relationship for months, had been married that morning and was now breaking up with her. Korea covered his mouth with his sleeve as he lamented the girl's loss, eventually pulling over a pillow to muffle his noise. He went on like that for a good minute or so before dissolving back into his Korean gibberish, and eventually, silence, as he stared at the screen tensely, barely blinking, not wanting to miss a moment.
A moment later, the episode ended - in a cliffhanger - just as the man was about to reveal who his new wife was.
"No! No! They can't end it there!" The Korean wailed, grabbing America's arm and shaking him in desperation. "Who is it? He has to say who it is!"
"Hey, man, calm down!" America said reassuringly, pulling him into a bro-hug and ruffling his hair. "It's okay! Just—"
"Nooo it's not!" Korea cried, flailing about as he released the American's arm and looked frantically for the remote. "It's not okay!" Once he'd found it, he fumbled to go back on the DVR and find the next episode, only quieting down once the opening sequence of the next episode began to play.
Korea's reactions, America thought, might actually be more entertaining than the dramas themselves.
