Mega Man: The Constitution Wars
For some time now, the world has known peace. The British had been defeated long ago. Mega Man was eating some ice cream, when suddenly, Dr. Light bursted in! "Mega Man! There's been an attack, and it wasn't Dr. Wily this time! Dr. Articlesofconfederation has stolen the basic Constitutional Principles, and used them to create 6 new robot masters! We need your help!" Without a word, Mega Man grabbed his Mega Buster and warped straight to fight the new threat.
The first level was that of Popularsovereignty Man. Popularsovereignty Man said, "Mega Man, you cannot possibly defeat me! My amazing power of popular sovereigntymakes the government's power only the power given to it by the people governed!" Mega Man then Mega Buster'd him and got equipped with P. Sover.
The second level belonged to Limitedgovernment Man. Limitedgovernment Man said, "Mega Man, you may have defeated Popularsovereignty Man, but my power is unstoppable! You see, with my power of limited government, the government itself is not exempt from the law!" Mega Man P. Sover'd'd him and got equipped with L. Govern.
The third level was home to Seperationofpowers Man. Seperationofpowers Man said, "Mega Man, your defeat of Limitedgovernment Man was nothing! With my amazing power of separation of powers, the powers of government are split into three branches!" Mega Man learned him some L. Govern and got equipped with S. Power.
Within the fourth level roamed Checksandbalances Man. Checksandbalances Man said, "Mega Man, Seperationofpowers Man was a fool. Prepare yourself! My power ofchecks and balances makes all three branches of government follow restraints from the other two branches!" Mega Man's S. Power soon made sure he got equipped with CB. Shot.
In the fifth level was the great Judicialreview Man. Judicialreview Man said, "Mega Man, despite your win over Checkandbalances Man, you shan't be defeating I! With my power of judicial review, the courts are able to declare any government action as unconstitutional!" After Mega Man's quick use of CB. Shot, he got equipped with J. Review.
Within the sixth level resided Federalism Man. Federalism Man said, "Mega Man, I will have revenge for Judicialreview Man! I will crush you with my power of federalism, dividing power between a central government and several regional governments!" Mega Man bested him with J. Review, and got equipped with F. Trident.
Finally, Mega Man came to the final level, where Dr. Articlesofconfederation had already prepared a gigantic robot, powered by the basic principles of the Articles of Confederation. Dr. Articlesofconfederation said, "Mega Man, I shall defeat you! These Articles will power the- *CLUNK*- what? What was that?!" Immediately, his battle robot began to crumble to pieces. "Dr. Articlesofconfederation, you've forgotten! The Articles are not sufficient to run anything, only causing them to crumble to dust!" said Mega Man. And with that, the battle robot settled to the floor in a heap, the center containing none other than Dr. Wily, disguised as Dr. Articlesofconfederation all along! "Mega Man, you've defeated my robot masters and me once again! How did you do it?!" exclaimed Wily. Mega Man smirked, and replied, "Simple, Dr. Wily. I paid attention in my American Government class and learned the six principles of the constitution inside and out. They couldn't possibly surprise me on a test, physical or otherwise. Plus having a laser gun helped. God bless America!" And so Mega Man turned his back to Wily, reciting the pledge of allegiance to a conveniently placed American flag, and Wily silently tiptoed away.
Nearby, Protoman looked on and facepalm'd himself. "Mega Man, you patriotic doofus…"
