"It seems fortuitous to me," Michiru said with her usual enigmatic smile. "Who else could understand her? They know everything about each other. Two soldiers of destiny…their fates intertwined…it seems…familiar to me…" Her hand crept under Haruka's shirt.

"Michiru!" Haruka said flushing. "Do not turn our serious discussion about Hotaru's future into a come -on!" She tried to ignore how good it felt.

"Hotaru will be fine," Michiru breathed, nuzzling Haruka's neck. "I saw it in my mirror last night. Remember, I took it out while we were in bed?"

Haruka's eyes widened. "You saw an omen?" she whispered.

Michiru laughed. "No, I saw our somehow made it through everything. And Hotaru's much more mature than her Papa ever was". She kissed Haruka softly and pulled away to see her lover finally smiling back at her. "Those two will be happy. I don't need an omen to know that."
