I'd Lie
Amu- 16 Ikuto- 17
Amu and Ikuto have been best friends since Amu was six and Ikuto was seven. They grew up together and tell each other everything… well maybe not everything, but mostly everything. Then Amu met Ikuto's sister and she was beautiful, but she left to be a singer. They go to the same high school, but after a while Amu got really jealous of all the girls that swoon and stalk Ikuto, but why? The answer is that she loves him, but she won't admit it. Now let's get on with the story.
At their school
"Ikuto, will you go out with me?" "No go out with me!" "I love you Ikuto!" It was another loud day for the famous Ikuto. "GO AWAY!!" he yelled at all the screaming fan girls that were surrounding his desk. They backed away slowly and went to their desks. Amu sat behind him, glad that all the fan girls left. "Ok everyone settle down now, I have an announcement to make." The teacher said. "Now, the school is having a karaoke night for all the seniors in the school." The whole class cheered except Ikuto, he didn't care. Then the bell rang and everybody left to go home. "Hey Ikuto, you wonna go to the karaoke together?" Amu asked. "Sure I got nothin better to do I guess." Ikuto replied in a bored tone of voice. When Amu got home she started to practice the song she was going to sing. When Ikuto came to pick Amu up she was ready. Amu signed herself up when they got there. They heard a few songs, most were for Ikuto from fan girls, and then it was Amu's turn. She got up there and started to sing the song I'd lie by Taylor swift.
"I
don't think that passenger seat
Has ever looked this good to me
He
tells me about his night
And I count the colors in his eyes
He'll
never fall in love he swears
As he runs his fingers through his
hair
I'm laughing 'cause I hope he's wrong
And I don't think it
ever crossed his mind
He tells a joke I fake a smile
That I
know all his favorite songs and
I could tell you his favorite
colors green
He loves to argue, born on the seventeenth
His
sister's beautiful, he has his father's eyes
And if you ask me if
I love him, I'd lie
He looks around the room
Innocently
overlooks the truth
Shouldn't a light go on?
Doesn't he know
I've had him memorized for so long?
He sees everything black
and white
Never let nobody see him cry
I don't let nobody see
me wishing he was mine
I could tell you his favorite colors
green
He loves to argue, born on the seventeenth
His sister's
beautiful, he has his father's eyes
And if you ask me if I love
him, I'd lie
He stands there then walks away
My God, if I
could only say
I'm holding every breathe for you
He'd never
tell you but he can play guitar
I think he can see through
everything but my heart
First thought when I wake up is, "My
god, he's beautiful"
So I put on my make up and pray for a
miracle
Yes, I could tell you his favorite colors green
He
loves to argue oh and it kills me
His sisters beautiful he has his
father's eyes
And if you asked me if I love him
If you ask me
if I love him, I'd lie"
Everyone cheered when Amu was done with her song. Ikuto was stunned because for some reason she was looking directly at him through the whole song. Amu walked over to him and smiled. "How did you like it?" Amu asked looking a little nervous. "Was it for me?" Ikuto asked her. "Ya." She said. "I love you." She looked down blushing and afraid of what he might say. "Amu" he said grabbing her chin gently pulling her head up so they looked into each other's eyes. "I've wanted you to tell me that for a long time. I love you too." Then he kissed her on the lips with passion and she kissed back.
