"He had that curious love of green, which in individuals is always the sign of a subtle artistic temperament, and in nations is said to denote a laxity, if not a decadence of morals." -- Oscar Wilde

Hino blinked and re-read the last sentence. When she confirmed she had read right, she pursed her lips to keep the smile threatening to overtake her face.

Really, girl magazines were so . . . amusing sometimes. She looked at the others around her. Somehow, they had all ended up having lunch together (well, Shimizu-kun was sleeping but that still counted right?).

Tsukimori-kun and Yunoki-senpai were off to her left talking quietly about the next theme. Fuyuumi-chan on her right sipping her tea, with Shimizu-kun dozing next to her. And finally across from her, Tsuchiura-kun and Hihara-senpai were engaged in a conversation about soccer. Thoughts of the article popped back into her head and she quickly looked away, a giggle bubbling up in her mouth.

"Hino-senpai, are you alright?" Fuyuumi asked softly. Tsukimori and Yunoki looked at the two girls, pausing their conversation.

Kahoko looked at the girl sitting next to her on the blanket. Her lip twitched. "Yes, I'm fine. I was just," she paused. "I read something rather interesting is all".

Hino passed the magazine over to the other girl and watched as Fuyuumi read the article's title: "GREEN: THIS MONTH'S SEXY COLOR".

The rest of the page showed different outfits and make-up in said color as well as reasons why green was so, so sexy. Soothing. Lively! Fun!! Dramatic.

Fuyuumi handed the magazine back to Hino and looked at her. Hino looked back. And together as one they looked over at Hihara and Tsuchiura in front of them still talking about soccer.

They looked back at each other and burst into giggles. This got the attention of the boys.

Yunoki looked at the two. "What's so funny?" he asked and hid his smile behind his cup as he watched Hino laugh and Fuyuumi blush (he had managed a peek at the article).

"Ah, nothing. It's, uh, it's sort of . . . of a, uh, a girl thing" Hino tried to explain between giggles.

Tsuchiura and Tsukimori frowned while Hihara pouted. "Uwah, Hino-chan is so mean for not telling us! Ne, ne, Fuyuumi-chan will tell us, right? Fuyuumi-chaaan!"
