I suppose every royal hides behind a mask.
A mask of false smiles and indifference because a ruler must never show emotion to their countryman.
I suppose in my case I'm no different, but I will admit in the few short minutes I spent with you that night seven months ago.
I did show you my true self.
No masks.
I wasn't hiding behind false smiles or lies.
What you saw was the true me.
Now I feel like our next encounters I will be force to hide a mask of indifference and hatred, despite the fact I have strong feelings for you.
A part of me wonders if you are the same way.
I know a piece of my true self crack when I was about to face you. A part of me wonders if you were able to see that piece of emotion before my mask of indifference of hatred conceal the concern away.
As we summon our runes and weapons a part of me wonders if you are hiding behind a mask as well.
