Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, and Lilian Conway sat crosslegged on the floor. The blond, 11 year old boy was finishing the finishing touches on the Transmutation Circle. "You ready?" Ed asked his younger brother. "Mm hmm." Ed set the paintbrush down. "Don't be scared, Al. Everthing's perfect." Lilian juat stared at the Elric Brothers. "Let's do it." All nodded and the 2 set their hands on the edges of the circle. It glowef a blue than a gold. Lilian could hear the rain pouring hard on the roof. p
"Alchemy, the science of understanding the structure of matter. Breaking it down then recunstructing it as something else. It can even make gold from lead. In the middle of the cicle a small violet tornado started to form blue lightning escaping. Ed screamed in pain. p
"That was Edward!" Winry said running through her front door. "Wait, Winry! Look." A yellow light shot from the Elric's roof. p
"The Elric Brothers knew the Laws. Of Equvilant Exchange The gain recuired sacrifice. That ssomething had to be taken from them. p
"No!" Lilian shouted running over to Ed. She had to hold back ascream when she saw that Ed's left leg was missing. "Alphonse, say something. Al, no! Stay with me!" He slammed his fist onto the ground as Lilian wrapped her arms around his waist. "Damn it! This wasn't supposed." He gasped. "Nooooo!" He began to cry as silent tears fell down Lilian's cheeks. "What have I done?" Ed asked himself.
a hand lifted up though the smoke. Ed looked up. "Mom!" He said smiling slightly. "Is that you. The smoke subsided, a horrible and gruesome vision came over the 2 as they screamed. p
