The Queens of Themyscira Returns

Down in the underworld there is a place called the Elysian Fields. It is where the blessed dead resides. Here the mighty Queen Hippolyta rest in eternal bliss with her beloved sister the mighty Queen Antiope in eternal joy and laughter... until one day.

Antiope, I feel a sudden dread within me, says Hippolyta. That is impossible my sister, Antiope says. We are in the Elysian Fields. Our life has past. We are at rest. Come, let us enjoy it.

I know, but I can not shake this feeling. Suddenly a cold and bone chilling breeze fell upon the two sisters.

Ah, my beautiful daughter. Ares, the god of War and new lord of the underworld states as he stands regally before the two sisters with a stunningly beautiful woman beside him. Her eyes a stunning turquoise glow, staring at Hippolyta and smiles lovingly at Hippolyta. Hippolyta somehow knows this woman. She feels, strangely enough, that she can trust this woman. But why is she beside the Deceiver? She thinks.

Ares, why have you come here and disturb our rest? Antiope says.

Because it is time for the Amazons to have their Queens returned. Because Themyscira is in danger.

And why would this concern you? Hippolyta says.

Then the woman beside him says. AThings change, my children. Hippolyta, do you not feel our bond?

Hippolyta says, "who are you?"

It is I my darling... Harmonia, your mother. I and your father have come to return you to the Amazons and rescue them from the danger that approaches from the world of man. They are in need of their Queens.

Hippolyta and Antiope was shocked. Hippolyta, since the time she found out she was the daughter of Ares, wondered many times who her mother was. Now here she stands face to face with that very woman. Harmonia stood in front of Hippolyta and gently caressed her cheek and stared deeply and lovingly into her eyes. My daughter, there will be time later for us to talk. Now is the time to act quickly. The danger not only jeopardize Themyscira but my grandchild as well...your daughter Diana.

Oddly, Antiope looks towards Ares and she sees something she thought was impossible...a warm smile. A smile of...love?
