Lots of Tim/Tam feels right now :)

BTW, I recommend listening to the song "Waiting For Superman" by Daughtry while reading this :)

Disclaimer: I don't own either of them or DC Comics :)

I found my Superman.

No, he can't fly.

No, he doesn't have super strength.

No, he doesn't have any powers whatsoever.

But it doesn't matter.

When I'm around him I smile, and he smiles back. His black hair falls into his bright blue eyes just the right way, and it looks so adorable. Sometimes when he's trying to get me to forgive him, and he gives me that one smile that makes me forget ever being mad at him in the first place I can't help but feel that we met each other for a reason.

I had no clue who he was at first. I was aware that Gotham had vigilantes, everyone knows that, but I never thought I would meet one of them, let alone fall in love with him.

My dad sent me on a mission. Find Timothy Drake and bring him back to Gotham. He didn't give me a reason. He just told me that's what I had to do. I had never met him before. I thought he was just another rich kid. I knew his basic backstory, he was all over the news when he was adopted, he came from a rich family, his mom died and his dad fell into a coma. He started living with Bruce Wayne after that until his dad woke up. He started living with his dad again until his father was killed, and was later on adopted by Bruce Wayne.

Timothy Jackson Drake.

Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne.

Tim Drake.

Tim Wayne.

Tim Drake-Wayne.

Robin.

Red Robin.

It doesn't matter what you call him.

I call him a hero.

MY hero.

When I was kidnapped by the League Of Assassins, he made sure I was safe. When the Council of Spiders tried to kill me, he saved my life. He got me home safe and he trusted me with his secret. I never told a soul.

Then when Vicki Vale came around practically demanding I tell her everything I new about Tim, I just said the first thing that popped into my head. That we were engaged. It spread around Gotham faster than the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne's death, and soon enough everyone saw us as a couple. Even the people who knew it wasn't true in the first place.

Eventually I even started thinking of us that way, and I'm pretty sure he did too. Who knows, maybe we could become more than friends/partners in the future, and my little white lie won't be a lie anymore.

Because it doesn't matter that he doesn't have powers.

That he's a little younger than me.

That he's considered the 'nerdy' one in his family.

That he sometimes doubts himself.

None of it matters.

Because he's him.

He's Tim.

He's Red Robin.

And to me, Red Robin is even better than Superman.

Yeah, I ship them. They're just so cute together! :D
