Vegeta from anime/manga series, Dragon Ball Z, and Kazuya Mishima from video games, Tekken, are two characters that are so much similar.
For example, they have a father who has a high rank. Vegeta's father is the king of a planet that is named after him while Kazuya's father is the CEO of a company known as the Mishima Zaibatsu. They have the same hairstyle and, are arrogant. Both are antagonists, but half the time, they're also protagonists. Well, that's the meaning of "villain protagonist" if you ask me. They're also dark characters, and are loners. Also, they are their own bosses and won't be bossed around by anyone else. They have the same mannerisms like arms crossed and looking at the viewer by the back.
However, they have their differences. Vegeta's goal is to surpass Goku and defeat him while Kazuya's goal is to take over the Mishima Zaibatsu so that he can rule the entire world. Vegeta uses ki powers, but Kazuya uses Devil powers. The former's age is around seven hundred thirty-two years old while the latter's age is about forty-nine years old. Vegeta is a Saiyan while Kazuya is human.
When I thought about these two, it makes sense they're so much alike. What gave me away the fact? It's because of their hairstyles; it's the same. I've been thinking if what Namco where trying to get ideas from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Z. Well, despite the fact that the company doesn't confirmed nor denied of the similarities, I knew they were similar. Here's an interesting note: Vegeta's relationships with Bulma, Trunks, and Goku can be compared to Kazuya's relationships with Jun Kazama, Lee Chaolan, and Jin Kazama. These discovery would make me realize that Dragon Ball Z and Tekken can be alike in many ways, especially with both Vegeta and Kazuya.
