This is a Buffy/Supernatural crossover. Probably no pairing her with either Sam or Dean, depending how the story goes. Buffy meets Sam and Dean one night in a cemetery. They aren't all they seem, but then again, neither is Buffy.
Dusting and Beheading
Chapter 1:
The night was cold as Buffy walked through the cemetery. She had just finished a night of patrolling. This particular breed of vampire did not turn to dust, but had to be beheaded. As much as Buffy enjoyed swinging her sword and chopping heads, there was so much more mess. Buffy missed the simple dust and move on as it had once been in Sunnydale. Sometimes she missed that Hellmouth, but she was glad that it was closed permanently.
Buffy heard voices, so she hid behind a tree. She glanced around to see two men digging up a grave. Buffy raised an eyebrow. "Grave robbers?" Buffy thought to herself. She inched closer.
"God, I've missed these simple salt and burn cases, Sam!" The shorter of the two men exclaimed. "Too many demons."
The taller man, assumedly named Sam, rolled his eyes. "Well, you're the one who only has a year to live Dean. Who am I to discourage a simple case?" The taller man said. The shorter man, Dean, chuckled lightly.
"Okay. Time to light up this poor bastard. Hopefully the spirit will be put to rest!" Dean said. Both men jumped out of the grave. Dean lit a match and dropped it into grave. A few seconds later, flames rose up out of the ground. The taller man warmed his hands over the grave, the cool air obviously chilling him more than what he and the other man had just done.
Buffy stepped out from behind the tree and walked towards the men. "What do you think you're doing, burning a corpse?" Buffy asked, frowning.
Sam and Dean looked at each other, obviously trying to think of a cover story fast. Buffy laughed lightly. "It's okay boys! I'm joking. I know what you're doing. Salt and burn is the fastest way to put down an angry spirit." Buffy said, grinning at their shocked faces.
The boys noticed some blood on her face. "Um, miss? You've got blood on your face." Sam said, pointing at Buffy's cheek. She reached up and wiped the blood off.
"Ew," She said, a disgusted look on her face. "You'd think after ten years of killing vampires, I'd be used to blood."
Dean stepped forward slightly, frowning at this tiny blonde girl. "You kill vampires?" He asked in surprise.
The woman grinned at him. "I'm stronger than I look." She replied.
Dean let out a derisive chuckle. "Sure you are." Dean said. Buffy rolled her eyes.
"Whatever." Buffy said, walking away from them. Suddenly, a vampire jumped out behind a tree and its face turned demonic. Buffy grinned. "Now this evening seems more fun!"
"Slayer!" The vampire spat at her.
"Slayee!" Buffy said back, smirking. The vampire rushed her and Buffy easily side-stepped it. The vampire span and went to kick at Buffy, but the slayer was ready and grabbed the vampire's foot mid-air and pushed it back, making the vampire lose balance and fall over. Quick as a flash, Buffy pulled out her stake and thrust it into the vampire's chest, causing it to turn to dust.
Buffy stood up, her hair flipping over her shoulder, not even breathing hard or even breaking a sweat. She looked at the two boys. "Later!" Buffy said, turning and walking away.
"Wait!" Dean called. "Who are you?"
"Buffy!" Buffy called over her shoulder as she picked up her sword and walked away.
