Batman really hated Reaper and Dead Switch. Really hated.
Ever since That Night and ever since they'd gone to Metropolis, everyone had found out about their pet name for him. Everybody.
"Oh, God! It's Batman!" One thug had yelled earlier in the day.
And of course, it was one of Joker's. And Joker's voice had come over the PA system.
"Now, boys, what are the rules?" Joker had asked.
"I-if we don't call h-him B-b-bondageman, you'll turn our stomachs into purses?" The thug had asked.
"That's right. Now get him!"
Batman sighed silently before taking his anger out on the thugs.
"Oh, Bondageman, go easy on my men! My men don't like it rough. Unlike you."
Hate. Hate. Hate.
"Hey, let's get the Batman!" One thug yelled.
"Oh, look at that. A volunteer to become a purse. Maybe I'll give it to Harley as a token of my affection. Have her carry it around everywhere."
"Gee, Mistah J. How...Unique? Ya don't really expect me to walk around with it, do ya?" Harley's voice asked.
"Of course I do, Pooh!"
"Oh, uh, okay, Mistah J. Get that big, mean, Bondageman, boys!"
Hate. Hate. Hate.
Batman glared at the thug and applied more pressure with his foot. The thug cringed as it dug into his face. "Where are they?" He growled.
"I-I dunno! Boss doesn't keep tabs on them."
He applied more pressure. "Where are they?"
"A-at the Iceberg. They're drinkin'. Celebratin' havin' the night off!"
"Thanks."
CRUNCH.
He watched from the rooftop as the two girls laughed and walked down the alley, just slightly buzzed after a few drinks at the Iceberg Lounge.
As Batman, he shouldn't want revenge. He shouldn't act on feelings of wanting revenge. But he really, really wanted to.
"Where to next?" Switch asked, turning to look at Reaper. Batman dropped down behind them.
"How about Arkham?" He asked. The girls gasped in shock before turning around.
"Batman!" Reaper snapped
"Bondageman!" Switch corrected. He growled.
"Why?" Reaper demanded, her glasses starting to slip from her head.
"Why not?" He snapped.
"Was he just-?" Switch trailed of, turning to look at her companion.
"He was totally just sassy!" Reaper said. The girls started laughing. Batman glared and attached pieces of tape over their mouths. Or tried to.
Little known fact: Reaper likes to bite.
Switch tried to stifle a giggle but couldn't.
"What's this for, anyway?" Reaper demanded.
"Wha- you don't know?" Switch's laughter cut off as she looked in disbelief at the fear-monger hanging next to her.
"What?"
"Everyone's calling him Bondageman now. It's brilliant."
"It is not," Batman growled before turning around and starting to walk away.
"Well, come on, Bats! You can't just leave us hanging here! If my glasses drop, they'll break!" Reaper called after him. He sighed and turned around before folding her glasses up. "Trying to get fresh with me, Batman?" Reaper teased when he stuck them in one of her back pockets. "I know, it's hard to resist copping a feel but- mmmfgh!" Batman put a large piece of tape over her mouth. Clarice, while squinting, tried to glare at Batman, but only managed to glare at something three feet to his left. Her eyes were terrible.
Switch burst out into laughter, shaking so much she thought the cord holding her up was going to snap.
"Maybe now you'll watch what you say," Batman snapped.
"Come on, Bats, have a heart!" Switch said. She barely managed to speak through her laughter.
"Mmmmgg mmg mmmph!" Reaper tried to talk.
Batman turned away and smirked. Revenge may not be alright, but sometimes it was fun. And funny.
"The GCPD will be around to pick you up. Sooner or later."
A/N: I have no apologies. I just needed to write this as a response to SwordStitcher's Bondageman-fic that we came up with. Hopefully she likes it!
