"They're still there, aren't they?"
Her blond companion looked over his shoulder and confirmed the brunette's suspicions. "Yep, they're still hiding behind menus, but I can see Tai's hair."
The girl sighed and leaned against his shoulder. "You'd think they'd be fine with this by now, its not like it's new or anything."
"It's them, they'll stalk us until we die." T.K. chucked. "We could try to scare them off, traumatize them."
"The last time you said that Tai threatened to turn you into Greymon food..."
"Angemon would stop him…or Sora, depends on who reached him first."
After hearing a scuffle behind them, Kari looked back at where their brothers were trying to not be seen, pulled out her phone and dialed her brother. We Are The Champions blared from the table a few tables away and Tai lowered the menu and glared at them as he answered.
"It's just a study session, Tai. It's not like he's going to try to ravish me in public." Kari said into the phone while meeting her brother's glare.
"He shouldn't even be thinking about that. Ever." Her brother remarked.
"You do remember that we're in college now don't you?"
"So? You shouldn't be dating anyway! Not until you're at least 40." She saw Matts head nod in agreement.
"Legally we're adults and can do whatever we want."
"Not if I say no." Tai argued.
"Isn't bad enough you tried to get all the digidestined to vote on us dating when we started?"
"I still want a re-count."
"Go home, Tai."
"Now just wait a minute! I…" he was cut off as she hung up. He stood up and continued glaring for a minute before giving her an 'I'll be watching' signal and the two young men finally left.
"I'm going to wake up someday, and he will be standing over my bed waiting to kill me." TK groaned teasingly.
"Just tell him that I have video of him wearing a dress from when he was six and I'm not afraid to send it to every soccer scout in the world."
