A/N: This was a short one-shot that I did during lesson time in school when I was bored… A little bit of editing here and there, and here it is! I absolutely adore March Hare, also the friendship he has with White Rabbit, but it's kind of heartbreaking… Currently listening to Until The Day I Die and I think it pretty much fits… This is from March Hare's POV. I remember,
The first time I came to Wonderland…
The first time I met the White Rabbit,
And the time he gave me my name…
"March Hare."
We became friends after that.
Well, at least that's what he is to me.
I am not sure what he thinks of me though…
"You're a funny guy."
He used to smile so brightly back then.
It makes me wonder now what happened to the White Rabbit that I used to know…
He stays by Marianne's side a lot more lately.
Now he hardly makes dishes or cleans up the place.
I've been the one doing those chores for him.
Not that I mind or that I'm jealous of Marianne,
But I wish that she could tell Whitey to return back to his original self…
I like him that way better.
"Stop calling me Whitey!"
He hates it when I call him 'Whitey' but yet it's fun to tease him like that.
He doesn't retorts back like a child now like how he used to,
Instead he just screams at me to shut up.
He was upset when the 88th Alice became a Regret,
And he doesn't approve of the 89th Alice.
"What is this guy exactly…?!"
I've met with the 89th Alice once.
I admit that he isn't a bad guy once you get to know him better.
I can also see that why master approves of him.
He's a good guy and I believe he can help White Rabbit.
"The only one who can kill me is Alice!"
Even though Whitey says such a thing,
But I would have none of that.
I refuse to believe that it is the original story.
Alice is supposed to kind person…
And Alice is supposed to save the White Rabbit.
"You're a hindrance!"
White Rabbit…
I'm not sure what has happened to him…
I accept all the things he says to me because I know that's not the real him.
But then again,
Maybe he's right…
"Why did you come here, to this country…!"
It's kind of pathetic that now I'm sitting on a bench,
Reminiscing about my past with the White Rabbit…
Our first encounter…
Our first argument…
Our first friendship…
Maybe he really hates me but I can't say for sure…
So I did the most logical thing that came to my mind.
I raised the gun to my head.
I wish I could help the White Rabbit…
But now I can only hope for Alice to help him.
Maybe…
Just maybe…

We can be friends again…

A/N: Hooray for first sad story… I love these two so much… Those in Italic and "" are lines quoted from the manga. Anyone is crazy for Are You Alice? like me who buys all the volumes and is still collecting more and more…? I'm now looking for the Anthology manga. A really addicting manga for me and I'm glad that I found it. Does anyone want a one-shot like this but from White Rabbit's POV? (I do have that done already, also written during lesson time when bored…) Hope that this one-shot is alright and please do leave reviews and suggestions to help make my future writings better!
