"Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn't ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you"

Magnus woke up to the sound of Max yelling at Jack, he presumed. He turned to see an empty bed and looked at the open bathroom door, trying to find out where Alec was. He sighed and got up to stop the boys.

"One more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you"

"What is going on?"

"Jackie froze my rabbit!" Max screeched.

"Did not! He threw it at me!" Jack protested.

"Lier!"

"Jack, just give the rabbit to Max. Where's Joshua and Steven?" Magnus asked.

"Bed." Then two answered.

"And Papa?"

"Hospital. He's in a coma. Remember?" Magnus looked at Jack. It couldn't have all been a dream. Could it? He turned and ran to the calender, which confirmed it was Jack's birthday, two years after Alec went into the hospital. He wad still in there. But...how could it have all been a dream? It seemed so real.

"First thing I'd do, is pray for time to crawl
Then I'd unplug the telephone
And keep the TV off
I'd hold you every second
Say a million I love you's
That's what I'd do, with one more day with you"

He sighed and went to the boys rooms, still thinking about the dream. He usually never dreams. So why now?

He woke the boys up and then went into the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone.

After breakfast came Jack's presents. He was excited with what he got and immediately vanished after opening them . The day passed by quickly, and Magnus had the feeling he was forgetting to do something.

" One more day

"Magnus. We gave you a second chance. Why waste it?" He heard someone ask.

"What? Second chance?"

"Yes. A second chance at keeping Alec."

"It wasn't a dream?"

"No. Now, don't waste it. Go to him." Magnus stood and ran to the hospital. He was not wasting it.
