1Girlfriends

Kagome sighed, watching Inuyasha walk towards her with yet another new girlfriend.

"Kagome!" He called across the crowded lunch room, raising the hand that wasn't linked with his latest significant other and waving.

She waved back timidly, just wanting to get this over with.

"Hi, Inuyasha." She told him once he finally got to her.

Inuyasha smirked, "Just thought I'd introduce you to my girlfriend, Kikyo Okayami." He raised their linked hands as an indication.

Kagome smiled politely at the girl and then turned back to Inuyasha with a scowl.

This had been going on since the eighth grade. Every month, Inuyasha would get a new girlfriend, and every month, he'd introduce the two.

The guy was a masochistic idiot. A hot, masochistic idiot.

"That's the third one in two months, Inuyasha." She pointed out. "If you keep going on like this, your going to run out before the year ends.

Kikyo shot Kagome a look, but stayed silent.

Inuyasha smirked. "Whatsa matter, Wench? You jealous?"

"Of you?" Kagome's eyebrows rose to her hairline in shock. "Inuyasha, I'm hardly jealous of a sixteen year old boy with aids so far evolved not even science has a name for it yet."

Inuyasha sputtered as Kikyo made a face and removed herself from his arm.

Holding out her hand to Inuyasha, Kikyo raised a delicate eyebrow. "I'll be taking that fifty dollars now," She looked at Kagome, "While I'm still free of unknown Sexually Transmitted Diseases."

Inuyasha growled, but dug into his black baggy jeans and handed her the money.

Kikyo turned to Kagome. "I've no idea why this idiot decided to pay me to let him introduce me to you as his girlfriend, but it was nice to meet you. Have a nice day." And she walked off.

Kagome stared after her, before turning back to the scowling hanue beside her.

"So." She said.

"Feh." He said.

"So why did you pay her?"

Inuyasha looked at Kagome for a long time. "Feh." And then he kissed her.
