Well just another short story. Wanted to get these ideas done with so I can focus on my main stories. Yusei and Aki watch a movie but something disturbs Aki and they have an interesting talk. This takes place when they first started dating. Read and Review
Differences
Yusei and Aki have recently started dating. They now live at Ruka and Rua's place until things are cleared up with the public and sector security. One night they decide to just sit down and watch a movie...
"Aki, come on the movie is about to start," was what Yusei said as Aki was getting the popcorn. Rua, Ruka, and Yusei were already on the couch with the movie ready to play. Ruka and Rua sat on separate couches to allow Yusei and Aki to sit together. Rua had picked the movie. Aki arrives and hands the twins the popcorn. She knew that neither her nor Yusei would eat it but Rua would devour it so she just handed it to Rua. She proceeds to sit next to Yusei. Yusei wraps his arm around her and she gets herself comfortable resting her head on his shoulder.
"Okay lets start!" Rua said excitedly.
The movie starts introducing a girl. She seems normal and she is talking to a boy. Yusei and Aki think it might be a romantic comedy or something but they are in for a bad surprise. The movie continues and they see that the girl has powers. They seemed to be under her control so there wasn't much of a reaction from anyone. Then they saw that she loses control when her emotions escalate. This shocks Aki and she just stares blankly at the floor thinking about her past. Yusei notices.
"Aki, are you alright?"
She just continues thinking not noticing anything else. Then the movie becomes louder. In the movie the girl is hurting her friends and her family. With that Aki then ran into the bedroom with tears on her face.
"Yusei, I'm sorry I forgot about... you know," Rua said apologetically.
"It's alright Rua, you guys just keep watching I'm going to go talk to Aki."
As Yusei approaches the bedroom he could see Aki with her face in a pillow. He knew very well what was going on and approached her. Then he took her in his arms. She cried softly on him. He didn't mind at all.
"Aki..."
"Those memories... they're just so painful."
Yusei pulled her closer and held her tightly.
"Aki I promised that I would take all your pain and I'll do just that. Your past was painful and it's impossible to forget the past. However, it's not impossible to move on, and live in the present. You need strength to move on. Even if you don't have the strength I'll lend you my strength. No matter what the problem is, as long as I'm here we'll get through it together."
Aki's face brightened from his words.
"Yusei... you always seem to know what to say to make me feel better."
Yusei was blushing a little from this.
"Well I do what I can."
"That movie......"
"Aki you are not like that girl. Yes I know the powers were... similar, but you're kind, sweet, and I think you're probably the best person in the world. You're not a monster. You're the person I'm in love with and you're also my friend. You're Izayoi Aki, NOT the Black Rose Witch."
"Yusei... thank you so much." She puts wraps her arms around Yusei and she holds him very tightly, like she doesn't ever want to let go.
"Aki you know how I said I would take all your pain?"
"Yea?"
"Well I didn't mean to squeeze to me to death."
She lets go.
"Sorry Yusei."
They leave the room and head back to the living room. The movie was coming to an end. The girl in the movie was hugging the boy and it seemed that her powers were under control once again. Yusei holds Aki and they both kiss and just give each other a big smile.
