(Riku's Poem)
Won't you take my hand
Come see the rising sun
Above the glowing sand
Velvet like the lucid skies
I want you here with me
On the same side of the line
We've become divided
- the two of us
I'm looking for a sign
To tell me I'm not dreaming
To tell me I'm just fine
The sky is crying crystals
It's getting hard to see
Red becomes my vision
Why aren't you here with me?
Smitten hopes destroyed by lies
It's like I never even tried
In the beginning you were my friend
Yet we're so close to the finish
And worse off then at the start
The air seems too thick
My burdens not too light
Must've made you change your mind
To've invoked your will to fight
My fears are coming true
With every rising storm
And every night I lie awake
Left wondering till the morn:
Why won't you take my hand?

A/N: I got the idea from observing the fact that Riku is always offering his hand to Sora. Well, err, that's about it. o_o; It's © me... I'm just so happy that Fanfiction.net finally got a Kingdom Hearts section up! I was waiting for one! ^_^ You can expect fanfics from me...once I have free time. With work and school it's a little difficult at the moment. I also have to note that Kingdom Hearts is a wonderful game! (But of course you knew that) Oh yeah, and this is NOT supposed to be Shounen-ai. --; But if you think that way I guess it could be.. PS The spacing got funky when I uploaded this so I had to redo it. T_T Sorry!
