Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind. The whole L.A. team has crashed together and formed a family. None of them, well besides Sam, had any sort of family left. G. never knew who his family was, until it was to late. Eric's parents disowned him after he gave up "their" dreams to work at NCIS. No one really knew anything about Nell. Kensi never knew her mother and her father was killed over seas. And Deeks, his father could be dead for all he cared, his mother is to ashamed to look at him, and his sister is probably in the midst of the D.C. drug scene working undercover, and doing a hell of a lot better job then he would ever do. All of them separate were nothing. Just pieces of a shattered window, a broken picture frame, a crumpled piece of paper. But together, they were a team.

A team who always had each others back, with out hesitation. A team who while perfectly flawed each had something the other person lacked. Where there was a hole, another person had the ability to glue it back together. Ohana means family. While none of this people were related by blood they all adopted each other as family, which means that no one gets left behind.

They were sitting in the office laughing about Deeks tripping and falling on his face during the raid. Eric and Nell had come out of the control center, and while none of the current occupants would admit it, none of them wanted to have to leave and go home. Because at home it was just you, not your family. At home, Deeks couldn't hide behind his jokes, Kensi behind her walls, and G. would start thinking about his unknown past. At home, the ghosts of their pasts would become to much to bare. At home, Deeks might call his sister, and lie about his job as much as she was about hers, Kensi would open a six pack and a carton of ice cream, and attempt to forget, and Callen, would practice his Russian, take apart the toaster, and then put it back together again. At home they were all flawed. But at the OPS center they all fit together like glue.

Hetty looked at the scene in front of her. Sam was attempting not to laugh at one of Deeks jokes, Deeks was poking Kensi in the stomach trying to make her smile. Kensi was sitting on Deeks' desk swinging her legs. Eric was in Kensi's chair and Nell on her desk, laughing in spite of all of them. G. turned his head towards Hetty, Hetty simply nodded her head. And as she walked out of the OPS center, she knew that she would never leave behind any of her agents, they were her family, and family never gets left behind.

Please let me know what you think!

If anyone knows that anything that i have stated is false, please let me know. I made up stuff with eric and deeks, so don't ask me what episode that was in.

Oh and I don't own NCIS LA, otherwise i would have aired this weeks Deeks' episode like last week =]

Happy Presidents day everyone!
