Chapter 1
Anna Jane Black is the daughter of Sirus Black and a Veela named Maria. The month after she was born, her father was accused of murder and taken to Azkaban. Her mother abandoned her because she didn't want to take full responsibility for this child. Maria left Anna in the lake by Hogwarts because she knew she would be taken care of there.
The half giant Hadrig then found her. He then took her to Dumbledore then Madam Pomfry.
"So.. err.. is she gonna be ok?" Hadrig asked.
"Well I can tell you one thing, she seems to be ok-but she needs lots of rest so, out out out!" Madam Pomfry ordered.
"Tell me Hadrig, were did you find her?" Dumbledore asked.
"In the lake, I was looking fer some' Grindy Low and I saw 'er floatin' by- oh yea it came with a note," Hadrig reached into his pocket and pulled out a note. It read:
Her name is Anna Jane Black.
"I don' kno if she is a hitch er not," Hadrig said.
"Let's look in the Hogwarts Witches and Wizard Births," Dumbledore said as they were running into his office to find out.
When they did find the big book of wizards and witches, the di find her name.
"So she is half Veela and half witch, her father is Sirus Black and her mother Maria-no last name though, born June 1st 1987," Dumbledore read aloud.
"So are we gonna keep er'?" Hadrig asked.
"I guess so Hadrig, we can't just leave her can we? I better go tell Professor McGonnagall."
" And I'll go tell all the other professor's," Hadrig said leaving Dumbledore's office.

"Professor McGonnagall may I have a word with you?" Dumbledore asked.
"Yes Professor Dumbledore," she said walking up to him.
He then told her the whole story. While he was talking Minerva gave very surprised faces at him.
"And were is she now?" she asked.
"In the Hospital Wing," he answered.
They both went and when they got there, there was a whole bunch of other teachers and faculty also.
Madam Pompfry was furious. He face was red at ranging with anger and saying, 'the child needs her rest' or 'she is sleeping'. Then suddenly she said, "Fine you may all see her but one at a time!" then she murmured to herself and went into her office.
After everyone saw her, Dumbledore and Professor McGonnagall went into her office.
"Poppy, that little girl is half Veela, we must do something so when she comes and takes classes here, boys won't look at her the whole lessons, we must put into private classes so she will have full contact of what's going around her," McGonnagall said.
"I think Minerva is right Poppy we should have her take private classes," Dumbledore said.
"I guess so," she said.
When the two came out of the Hospital wing everyone was wanting to know what would happen to her. They told them that everything was going to be ok. And she would stay here at Hogwarts.
So…..what do you think of my 2nd fanfic. I hope it is much better then the other one. I don't know when Harry was exactly born but, I thought it was the year 1987. Anyways please review.
